Well...I've posted 3 or 4 times my schedule and nobody's responded. I've logged on several times and nobody's on. Once again, I'm to be punished because I'm not in the texting fraternity.

actual games played should be a bigger factor. If rowbo goes 6-7 and played all his games and someone goes 7-1. I'd put rowbo in. You have to reward being active and send a message for not. Again having guys go MIA doesn't help, but putting in an ou team that has 3 actual games played is stupid and disrespectful to the rest of us who bust our ass to get games in.

and I don't care what your excuse is. You committed and had 3 weeks. No reason not to finish.

Or at least have 75% if not all your games played that doesn't include the game w/ any team you got a FFT

I don't like putting alimit on games played either. If you say 8 then thats what people shoot for. They should shoot for 13 not 8.

I have finished 11, but Eric hasn’t been on or around, and Kokaine Kowboy appears to be on a bender.

Alright, I guessed I thought the league felt differently.
Rowbo, I apologize.
As for what the rule should be, we gotta act pretty quickly. One reason why I do not want to put games played into the playoff seeding is due to the insane complications. 6-5 vs 6-4 or my scenario of 8-4 vs 7-1-4...basically, what is the pecking order? and will it be consistent?
One idea that was bouncing around my head last night was to do something like this: Once the season is done, I'll rank the teams. Then I'll look at all of your games that were actually playable (so, don't count FFT's due to members quitting). Then every time you don't get a game in (whether it was your fault or not) get's a placeholder "L" (which won't count against your coaching record since you didn't actually play, but will count for seeding).
For instance say these are the hypothetical standings from next season of 12 games: Real Record |Team | Playoff Seeding Record 10-1-1 | OSU | 10-1-1 9-1| PSU | 9-3 9-2 |Nebraska | 9-3 6-2-4 | Boise | 6-2-4 3-1-5 | OU | 3-4-5 6-4 | Pitt | 6-6 3-9 | Michigan | 3-9
So going by playoff seeding record, OSU will remain at the top, PSU and NEB comes down to head-to-head tiebreaker, Boise beats out Pitt, OU beats out Mich.
And for our current season, it would look like this (using the standings I used to make the playoff bracket yesterday):
Record | Team | Seeding Record 8-1-1 | AUB | 8-4-1 6-2-1 | GT | 6-6-1 5-2-2 | FSU | 5-6-2 5-2-1 | UGA | 5-7-1 5-2-3 | TCU | 5-5-3 6-3-1 | Clem | 6-6-1 5-3-1 | FLA | 5-7-1 5-3-1 | MSU | 5-7-1 5-4-2 | UNC | 5-6-2 6-5-1 | WVU | 6-6-1 6-7-0 | LSU | 6-7-0 5-7-1 | VT | 5-7-1 .....
So now, the seedings will look like this (after FFL games are entered, I will be going by winning%): Aub 8-4-1 GT 6-6-1* Clemson 6-6-1* WVU 6-6-1* LSU 6-7-0 TCU 5-5-3 FSU 5-6-2** UNC 5-6-2**
*/** would come down to Tie-Breaker
What do you think?

Eberry, no apology necessary...all I wanted to do was open a discussion as it seemed to me that a closer look was needed as to how the playoffs would be set up seeding wise and who would potentially make them or not make them vs. how much of an effort was actually made to play the games that could be played. It was not my intention to go after you personally or the way that you have kept this league running in Prez' absence. I think you have done an amazing job keeping this season from going off the rails completely. I trust that after looking at the final standings and taking all things fair into account that you will make a decision and we will all abide by it and move on!

Eberry... I just want to give you mad props for all the work you and prez put into this league.. I'm cool with whatever you decide is in the best interest of everyone.. Which you tend to do well given the few situations I've seen during my now 2 seasons..

Did you not read my message? Without people that drop off like flies, the FFT's won't be an issue. I refuse to make a rule based off a season where there were like 100 games cancelled due to people quitting. especially the head of the league pulling a 52 scoo do has anybody heard from prez is he alright
