No I will not use him at QB in league play, but lobby yes. I was his head middle school basketball coach. I also watched him play QB and SS in high school. I noticed that on this years game he can throw the ball better. He is a beast and using him at QB adds another dimension to Tennessee.
Any other Defensive players on the game that played QB in high school?

What does this have to do with The COFL and the season we are in? Nothing. Post it somewhere else.

It is true I have been coaching for 12 years now. I've coached Jamaal Anderson (Atlanta Falcons DE) in Middle School 98-00 (Pulaski Heights Middle School, Little Rock AR) also. Eric Berry averaged 20 points a game for me. He actually has two uncles that are 6'6 and 6'7 he was bound to be a monster regardless. There are other athletes I have coached as well, these are just two of the main ones.
Prez, it is strategy if you try him there; it is not the same as putting Taylor Mays there (Because he actually was never a QB). Also I'm sure that EA has taken to account other QBs on defense when it comes to their ratings. If you don't believe me take a look at Eric's offensive ratings. Also I guess this is the correct heading since this one says NCAA strategies, questions and comments.
Eric ran track and won the State Long Jump his Senior year 23-5. He also finished 3rd in the 100m (10.7).
Last but not least you been on me lately like "White On Rice". Chill out Prez, I mean no harm and I bring peace and tranquility.
Here he is in action........

Kiffin was asked if he was going to play berry at QB this year, I agreed with him 100% too.
he said no way, that this year berry is having to learn a new defensive system and if they took him away from defensive time either on the field or in the classroom to play QB it would hurt him on defense this year.
Also he would have to learn a brand new offensive system too and they are more interested in developing the QB's they already have to learn their system.
Let's face it cali, the only reason you would put eberry at QB is so you can run option with him and scramble and complete passes off of broken plays.
eberry at qb in the game is just pure lobby crap in my opinion.

He went to Creekside High School, Fairbun Georgia. I coached him at Bear Creek Middle School, which is right across the street.
What I like the most about him is he knows the Triple Option, thats all his H.S. team ran.

If he went to Georgia Tech he would have. Because they signed Morgan Burnett from North Clayton high school that same year to play saftey. They wouldn't have needed both of them. His money is on defense, but he knows and understands the Triple Option. Kent he would eat Nesbitt alive if he was at Tech. Nesbitt is way slower than Berry (A Georgia Nightmare). LMAO
Also I don't worry about broken plays Kent, he's a triple option QB. The flexbone is built around Question marks, thats why Georgia couldn't stop it last year. We will see if they can stop it this year.
I'm not playing him their either in league play, it just was strange that EA gave him QB attributes as if they understood his background.
I really was curious to see if there were any other beasts out there in college football that are on the opposite side of the ball.

Anquan Bolden got recruited to play QB at FSU and switched to a WR his JR year I believe.

You know I remember that, and never understood why they switched him; as if FSU didn't have any other receivers.

You know I remember that, and never understood why they switched him; as if FSU didn't have any other receivers. They were loaded at QB with Weinke and Rix. Obviously, Rix blew dick and Weinke won them a title, so, he got in where he fit in. Probably the best move for him. Scott Frost played QB at Nebraska and when he went pro he played FS for the Jets. I believe Eric Crouch played WR in the NFL but before that he was the QB at Nebraska.

Thats the same dumb shit they did with Arkansas QB Matt Jones, made him a fucking WR. Now he mainly just smokes all the time, I guess he can do this since he just has to run routes.

A&M QB Reggie McNeal was a quarterback in college, then he got to the NFL and was a WR and special teams player a little while for the Bengals. Now he is in Canada, 4th string QB and a wide reciever. Pretty crazy

I don't understand how some of these coaches view their athletes. I know Pete Carroll came to visit Eric, and Mak Richt did also. His dad is the only reason he went to Tennessee, but I forgot that did tell him he would start his freshman year.

Tom Zbikowski played QB in high school and he was all-state. He was a beast in HS, he played LB too. He was just a tough mother fucker. He plays SS for the Ravens. He blew the USC game on the 4th and 9.

have you honestly never noticed two-way athletes on this game before? it happens all of the time.
henry melton storm klein zbikowski chris gamble aj hawk (recruited as a fb) andre amos (was a wr, now db) greg boone (vt te, used to be a qb)
can't think of any more off the top of my head, but fire up the old games, there are a ton of people that can throw even though they aren't a quarterback

Texas WR John Chiles has great qb ratings for a WR. Probably because he was a qb the last 3 years.

Kent I hate you brought Georgia up, because they fucked over DJ Shockley. They messed him up for life, because he's playing back up for the falcons. He just needs to leave Georgia.
I feel you eberry about the others, but if they are not from Georgia I wouldn't have known that. I played Eric Berry at QB and he almost threw better than Nesbitt.
And Vtech I could see Chiles being very dangerous out of the wildcat.

half of UF recruits are QBs in high school, doesn't mean they are gonna play that in college. In high school they want the best player touching the ball as much as possible, so they put them at QB.

The best non Qb with QB ratings in this game had to be Michael Bush from Louiseville in 06' I believe. That dude had like 90 throwing power and 80 accuracy or something. It was Vince young esq when you put him there.

Nah he was a year ahead of brohm and was gunna play qb when sage rosenfels left but when broh came he became a runningback. Him and brohm played in one of the best high school state final games ever too. I think the score was 59-56 brohms team won.
