I couldn't decide between the ok state guys so I voted for Boyd bc he whipped my ass when we played. Of course...Bowman whipped my ass too, but Boyd is so slow and still whipped my ass, I just felt he deserved it.

Boyd is slow is an understatement....if he had any speed i would have run for a lot more.

idk how boyd is going to win this, his numbers are very pedestrian. most years there is a rb with better numbers than that. bowman had the best season ever as a receiver with a record 27td's and 60 yds away from the record in only 10 games.
o well, the year i won it with perrilloux his numbers weren't the best and he still got it. 4 for 7 with two second place finishes isn't bad

I voted for Bowman...no idea how boyd is winning, but the people are speaking and the people are wrong.

its easy to throw it to an impact WR and user catch every time your in shotgun....a little tougher to run the ball.. with all the 4-2-5's and thunder greens 1300 yards is impressive ESPECIALLY now that the game has been out forever and EVERYONE knows how to stop the run

and BTW...Bowman is matched up with the 4th string CB 95% of the time...strong slots should be illegal until there is a Defensive package that allows you to move the strong cb there.......stat whore

i only put bowman in the slot out of one shotgun package, hardly 95% of the time
idk how 1300 yards is impressive, i got that with my qb last year. if it was 1800+ then i'd say he had a good year, but 1300 is average in my book. but there are always years where the guy with the best stats doesn't win. the year i had perrilloux win it he didn't have the best numbers. and when i got it with pj hill i was very close to the rushing record, but dennis dixon had the best stats ive ever seen and got hosed because hokie's brother apparently tried to run up the score on someone that year. it happens, congrats on the heisman

And you got it with your QB because your RB had like 10 carries all season.

"1300 yards is impressive ESPECIALLY now that the game has been out forever and EVERYONE knows how to stop the run" .....You didn't say "great", but you said impressive and then continued to back it up like it was some sort of feat that has never been accomplished before.

with the current team, my qb is a better option running than either of the running backs. it's the third year my qb has averaged over 5 ypc, and he fumbled once all year.

I ran wild with Savage so I disagree there....but I'm done with this topic, all i got left to say is CLEAN SWEEP....Heisman and Butkus guarantees me a playoff loss.

I think the Heisman is really more than stats...it's about the contribution to the winning of the games. In this case, it was hard for me to vote because Bowman and Boyd kicked my ass in our games. I'm just a little more impressed when someone can run on me than when they can pass.
