close, 24-19 osu
wow....pulliams and i just had an absolute slugfest. this will be a lengthy and thorough recap, but it won't do the game justice. honestly, one of the better playoff matchups ive had in a long time. reminiscent of some of the battles vtech and i had back on 09.
so to begin osu came out running the rock and scored on the first drive after a pass from braxton to posey. 7-0. very next play, asu takes it to the house...wtf, I've had like 2 kr for td's all year and i get one on me in the worst possible time. 7-7. then osu comes out running the rock some more and converting a few 3rd downs en route to a 5 min score capped by a 12 yd pass from BMillz to Corey Brown. 14-7. ASU drove down and added a fg, but left too much time on the clock and OSU did the same as the half expired 17-10.
ASU received and had a nice drive going until terrence howard picked off a pass as his momentum carried him in the endzone, buckeye ball...or is it? apparently EA thought otherwise and credits ASU with a safety! wtf? even pulliams knew that was bs, but whatevs. 17-12. ASU, capitalizing on the opportunity drives right down OSU's throat and scores with 1:30 to go in the 3rd. 19-17. OSU got the ball back, converted an equally gay 4th down (BMillz ran right through the qb spy 3 yards short of the marker) and then started pounding the rock once again. With about 2 to go and ASU having 3 timeouts, I had to start thinking about just running out as much time as possible. Berry scored on a toss with about :50 to go and 1 ASU timeout remaining. After 4 incomplete passes (1 drop and 1 near miracle bomb to my 35) OSU emerged from Tempe victorious, 24-19.
whew.

Gg. The better user won today. Eberry controlled the game from start to finish. My goal was to win another COFL title and then concentrate on Madden. It looks like I will be back next season. Lol.
