JT and many others have brought some rules to our attention that they felt needed to be changed. Here were the rules or suggestions that we all discussed:
____________________________________________
1. Un-ban HB direct
2. Change pre-snap defensive movement rule: You may not move any defensive linemen. You may not move blitzing players closer than two yards to the LOS. Otherwise, you can move LBs and DBs to your liking.
3. Combine screen pass rules: On any screen pass, you may only throw to a receiver behind the line of scrimmage, run with the QB or throw the ball away.
(On some designed WR screens there is a WR on the opposite side that turns in and you should be able to throw to him too)
4. Winning team gets both team stats (This may have already been the rule but some people weren't sure)
5. Ban 1-5-5. No different than QSB... OL AI completely falls apart under that environment.
___________________________________________
Here is the verdict:
#1 - HB is unbanned. Never thought I would see this day. This was the original cheese play.
#2 - Stays the same. This rule will NOT be changed. You can only move 1 player and that player that you move you HAVE TO BE HIM. You can only move your LB's or DB's manually, you cannot move your DL manually, you can shift them, but not move them manually.
#3 - This has been passed and is accepted. On any screen pass, you may only throw to a receiver behind the line of scrimmage, run with the QB or throw the ball away.
#4 - You get your own stats, that includes team stats. If they don't add up, then you will brought to a jury of your own peers.
#5 - There will NOT be any stats allowed for games that aren't finished. If their is a D/C, then their are no stats. I don't want to hear "I was keeping track of his" or "It was unranked so I got them emailed to me". If you input stats for a game that was a D/C you will lose 5 draft spots.
#6 - The 1-5-5 has been BANNED!
