So far my 2 favorite are:
Miami & Florida State
Northwesterns and NOtre Dame's are good, but I didn't like their pass plays. I like shotgun but not too much shotgun.
What do you guys use/

Tennessee's isn't bad. Pretty good balance and a couple formations I couldn't find anywhere else. Good aces, iforms, strongs, and good mix of shotgun

Florida has by far the best shotgun and gadget plays in my opinoin, but i just dont like it because they took the ace and power eye formations away from their offense this year. Im still tryin to find a good one that suits me and everyone playbook is different for somebody else.

That's the truth--on both points.
It might not be a bad idea for someone to break down the playbooks into categories--kind of like a quick reference. I do that for myself on a small scale at some point as the year progresses and I've been through a few.
I went through last year and picked out every playbook that featured the Maryland I in goal line and wrote them down. (I think their actually the same for this year too--at least the ones I've checked are)

Flexbone, Balanced & Air Force. Air Force has the biggest variety of run and pass to me. I've had more success with the Balanced.

www.ncaastrategies.com/utopia/showthread.php?t=68664first, go to that site to find exactly what you want in a playbook. works like a charm. second, I run air force (good call coachcal on the balance of the flex, ace and shotgun) or georgia (practically an extension of air force, just no flex obviously) third, i hate shotgun.

I used Shotgun last year, hell I used Florida's playbook all last season, except for the season I had Georgia. I tried those fockers playbook and loss 6 straight games. Went back to Florida and won 6.
The other side for me is that not using so much Shotgun settles my offense down. I had that problem with Texas Tech I probably threw the ball 95% of the time. Not good at all going up against the competion in this league.

yea, thats what i end up doing once i go to shotgun too. thats why i cant have an oregon or florida playbook with all shotgun. i mean, if the guy your playing has an incredible dline (uga or texas or something) then he beats the shit out of you cuz he knows you have to pass and he knows even if you run, he hast all 11 guys near the line of scrimmage so he will beat your ass.

I decided to go with the Ohio State playbook, and I plan to stick with it. It has a lot of I-formations, including my favorites, and a lot of Ace formations, that I suck at. It has 5 shotgun formations, I think, including 4 wide and 5 wide, normal, Y-trips, I think, and one other unbalanced shot formation.
It doesn't have any strong or weak formations though, which I thought were pretty effective towards the end of last season.

I decided to try Ohio State's as well after Bama shut down my offense. I like it pretty good so far.
