Two kids from my high school passed away in a car accident. This is one thing I love about this board is we can post stuff like this on here. It was the ultimate tradegy, one boy who was a senior in high school and a girl who was a sophmore in high school. They were dating, both were out in Delaware OH which is north of Dublin, really bad roads and country like area. They each told there parents they were going to eachothers houses to watch a movie just so they could go out and spend time with eachother that night. As they were coming back at 11:55pm to get in before curfew, there car hit a guard rail and flipped, neither of em were wearing a seat belt and both of em went through the wind shield and were pronouced dead at the scene.
The father of the boy(Kyle) told him he had to be home at 1am and at 1:30am he was getting ready to go get his son because he wasn't home yet. As he opened his front door two police officers were walking up to his driveway and he called to his wife to tell her Kyle was in trouble. They just didn't know it was life altering kind of trouble. Imagine how fucked up that is, one minute just thinking you are going to pick up your son from his GFs, then as you opened up your front door you hear that hes dead.
I didn't know Kyle all too well but he played football with my brother and was a great kid from what I hear. The girl (Lyndsey) is the one ive been having a real hard time coping with. She left behind 6 brothers and sisters and 2 awesome parents. Her older brothers Jason who is a grade ahead of me, plays football for Bowling Green and Taylor who is a grade behind me plays football for Ohio State. Ive gone to the same grade school, middle school, and high school with them and played all kind of sports with them through the years. Taylor and me played travel baseball with eachother all 5th-8th grade and I use to see Lyndsey every single day at our games and she use to always bring candy and food for us. It is just so sad because I feel like ive lost a younger sister and it has just been really hard to deal with. When Taylor found out she had passed, his parents told him he needed to get home ASAP. When he pulled into the driveway he just fell onto the lawn and couldnt move or breathe he was in such shock.
Anyways the point to this thread is don't take things for granted because you never know when you could go. Heres a video of the two if any of you wanna watch, it's pretty heartwarming...
