i probably should of mentioned this sooner instead of waiting right after i got home from the funeral. him and my dad were best friends so i got a chance to get to know him and it was a honor and privelage to know this man. this guy was more then a friend to me he was a role model to me in the tiny small town i grew up in he for a while he was the only cop we had in town he was also an EMT and on the volenteer fire dept, he helped the eldery and anyone else who coundt take care of themself he mowed peoples lawns, if you had a skunk in your yard he would come shoot it, if you had a snake in your garden he would come and kill it. alot of people dident appricate him in fact alot of people wanted him fired but he helped so many people in so many ways. what made him a role model to me was all the things he did for everyone else while being on call 24/7. this might of been the roughest week of my life i just about lost it at the funeral whe nthey did the sound right after his son about my age went to the police car the signal the dismatch to say ryan PD 107 out for good. this jsut isnt fare he was only 54 years old now there are there several people who are more sad then i am like his wife for much of his life he was a bit of a player then he met someone who he was truly happy with i dont know how she is gonna get around without his income she has health problems and cant really take care of herself.
