Wow. Crap. What an exploit. I just tried it and it is ridiculous. I hope we can contain this in the league.

I used to do that on ps2 before i played online.

best glitches on ps2:
1) after calling for no huddle, pause the game, change an audible, call that audible and the game ends, no dc loss. 2) timeout on the kickoff, hold down and left (or right) and tap square until it disconnects 3) hold down r1,l1,r2,l2 buttons and down and left (or right) and the game just sits there....did that to some guy for about 10 hours, went to bed, woke up and finished vs the computer lol 4) wr direct 5) qb spy glitch where nobody would block you around the edge enabling easy sacks and blocking kicks/punts 6) and best of all...pause the game, unplug the ethernet cord and finish the game vs the computer or quit and dont count...the ole double win glitch lol
any others?

I don't think I ever played football on PS2. But, boy can I tell some stories about football on Mattel's Intelevision. I wonder if anyone here ever played that.

My first football video game was NFL Blitz 2000 on the N64. That game was crazy lol. Then I had NFL QB Club 2000, that game was lame. Then I got Madden 2002 on the N64 with Dante Culpepper on the cover. That game was really fun. Ahhh the good ole days lol.

my first one was super play action football on the snes, it was pretty sweet you could play as NFL teams college teams or even high school teams. on the high teams you created your school but the only options were the color of your 1 uniform the name of the and nickname and played against generic high schools.
then came christmas of 1998 i was in the 4th grade, i got a PS1 with ncaa football 98 dan wuffle was on the cover. that was when i started playing the ncaa football series and when i sided with sony over nintendo and ive been getting ncaa football every year since then and every sony console excluding the handhelds

Lol madden 2000, Eddie George representin'. That was the start if the madden curse if I remember correctly. NFL Blitz 2000 was by far the greatest blitz game of all time. My roomate and I and a couple if my friends still play it and have battles all the time. Madden 99 was my first football game. Gave the rock to Terrell Davis in pro formation every single play lol.
WR direct was incredible. First time I saw that I about blew my load. If you were Oklahoma and put Adrian Peterson in getting the ball it was unstoppable even if they were running punt safe which usually stopped it. The PS2 dys were awesome.
There was also one glitch in 06' where u could literally get the onside kick everytime. I remember we were playing cards in my friends basement one day and 2 of em got knoked out early so they played a game. Gorandragic got up 49-7 on my one friend in the 2nd qtr and I bet him 5 bucks I would beat him if I took over for the other guy. Lol safe to say I got 7 straight onside kicks and ive never seen another human being that mad in his life.

I don't know if it works online since no one's done it to me yet, but it does work in practice. This is kind of a scary thing as far as online play goes since you have to basically call a nano blitz or something every play in order to stop it. If this works online and it's not fixed, I guess I'll just be playing league games and buy Madden to play others.

What troubles me ZZ, is that I know darn well that if I am beating Thurm, he is going to pull that glitch pass out. The kid has no conscious.

It troubles me as well...old guys like you and me are purists and would never do anything like that. It's that new generation thing that the one before that corrupted.
