These are the rules for formation subs, we will discuss whether to allow all formation subs for next season or not. I don't think we should, but eberry thinks we should.
Read the rules below. You can use formation subs WITHIN THOSE RULES. What that means for those of you who are slow is that you can use the formation sub that puts your HB at FB but you can't use formation subs that put a DB at LB or DE. Basically, don't be a doosh. Those are the rules.
Substitutions/Audibles
1. You can use any "Wild" formation (Wildcat, Wild Duck, etc, etc) 2. If you are in a formation other than the "Wild" formations, the following applies: QB - you can only put a QB at QB. Meaning, you cannot put your WR/DB/OL/LB/DL/HB/K/P at QB, it has to be your starting QB or your backup HB - you can only put your HB or FB at the HB position. FB - you can put your HB, FB, TE or OL in at FB. WR - You can put a WR/TE/DB or HB in the wide reciever position, nothing else TE - You can put your TE or a WR at TE, nothing else. OL - OL only, nothing else. 3. For defensive substitutions the following applies: DL - you cannot put any other position at DL except a DL. You can't use the packages to put your LB's or Safety's at DL, only DL can play DL. LB - only LB's can play LB. You can't use any packages to put your DB's at LB. DB - only DB's can play DB's. DB's consist of your CB, S & FS. 3. For Special Team substitutions the following applies: P/K- only P/K's can play P/K.
