If this gets me banned or kicked well i'm sorry and so be it but i'm going to say it anyways. Being the "new" guy to the league probably gives me no respect in my opinion but here goes. Now I'm not upset that i lost, frankly losing does not bother me. I have lost a load of games sine being here and never complained. However when I run acrossed somebody cocky/disrespectful it kind of pushes my buttons a little bit.
Now cheesing is not illegal in this league. So I really can't say anything about it or make excuses. But when you run the same play 15 times, and 90% of your yards/90% of your points are from the same play being ran to exploit (HB Screen) I find that a little outrageous. Personally I think that kind of cheesing play should be forbidden, but it is not my league or place to say that. But when you start disrespecting your opponent....Like punting the ball on 1st and 10...That kind of paints you in a cocky image and is a douchebag move. I personally have morales and would rather lose a game than exploit a play over and over to win. You moved the ball maybe 35 yards outside of your HB screen. Any other play you ran went absolutely no where. Non of this really bothers me but....Have some respect and show some good sportsmanship. Don't try punting on 1st and 10 to act like a cocky asshole.

Ryan - You won’t get banned or kicked for calling out cheese or complaining about your opponent. Have you seen any of the threads by other guys after they lost? Yours was extremely mild by comparison.
One thing I am wondering though. This was a 7 point loss. And, you said he punted on 1st and 10 at some point in this game? I don’t know why anyone would do that in a close game. Can you explain that?
One other thing too. If you are getting beat by the same play over and over it is up to you to learn how to stop it. Silva broke out a new formation on me in our game, and he ran the ball down my throat. I was confused and just couldn’t pick up on it. But I know I better learn how to. There is a tradition in football, probably started in the 19th century. If a play works, you run it again. You keep on running it until the other guys shows he can stop it. I don’t know what screen pass, exactly, he was running, but I have never seen an opponent have much success with screen passes against me. Did you change your defense to adjust to that play? Did you use whatever guy you were controlling to overplay that pass? I don’t believe there is any play that cannot be stopped with the right combination of play calling and user play. I just got torched myself, but I sure don’t plan on it happening again.

Um after being in control the first quarter, he used a screen play that went for a touchdown. Then proceeded to use it over and over. Now that is not really the biggest issue I have, people will play the way they want. However, near the 3 minute mark, after i had thrown an interception and he was in field go range, up by 14. He decided to punt me the ball on the very next 1st and 10 play. As if daring "try to beat me i bet you can't, that just seems like bad sportmanship imo.)
And as far as the screen goes i was using a 4-2-5 base defense playing alot of man coverage. I was usering the FS most of the game. That could have been the problem. But like I said i'm more so disappointed in the sportmanship. If you have to use the same play over and over because any other play you ran got completely shut down...You shouldn't be in a position to try and mock someone.

Just go manually cover the RB with your safety that should take that play away. It is illegal to throw to any other reciver on the HB screen other then the HB so if you have it covered his options are run with the QB,force the pass to the RB, or Throw the ball away. Its very easy to shut down if you know its coming.

I most always play one of the safeties, and pretty often man to man. A big problem with that is screen passes, because often the other safety has the RB man to man. But he is 15 yards away. You are forced to take that away with your user safety. Same thing with any pass to the RB. It is not easy to do, and I have failed at it lately, but that is the way I see things.
