[glow=red,2,300]Neutral fields and bowl games online[/glow]Online option to play at neutral fields. We could set up the UF UGA game to be in jax. the OU Texas game in Dallas. Then our bowl games and playoff games set anywhere we want on neutral fields. Have the stands half and half.
[glow=red,2,300]Live games and updates [/glow] I would also like to have an option to where we all can watch games live in the lobby. You have a play now option or watch friends games.
Have an option when you invite someone for a game, you can invite people to watch. They will be in the game too but just watching it. This would be easy for EA to do. Imagine if all of us were watching a playoff game, the NT or a big rival game, they could talk and shit too on the mics. Or if anything maybe a ticker or game updates in the lobby or when your playing a game, it gives you updates on your friends playing. Like 14-10 2nd quarter.
[glow=red,2,300]Highlight options[/glow] Give us more highlight options. I want full editing software for after the games, we can go in and customize a replay with multiple camera angles and then cut it like an ESPN clip. Add music and then save and upload those things to EA sports website.
[glow=red,2,300]Personal clubs on EA Sports.com[/glow] Also on EA sports I would like to have an option for clubs, so we can set up a COFL club with our own logo on it on EA, it will post our top 10 plays pics and scores. everyone's average online and ranking and so forth.
As far as game play...
[glow=red,2,300]More speed[/glow] Give the TE's, FB's and LB's a little more speed. Have guys helmets fly off at times on a big hit. Have fans leave if it is a blowout, I want to see cleared bleachers in the 4th. and if your team is winning I want it to get really loud.
[glow=red,2,300]Fix the punting coverage[/glow] I want to see max cover punt actually work like it does in real life.
[glow=red,2,300]Wierd running motion[/glow] Fix that motion when the runner starts hopping at some point on long runs, that looks gay.
[glow=red,2,300]Field goal kicks[/glow] make the field goal kicks harder, get rid of the meter maybee, you have to kick it blind and feel the timing or keep it the same but fuck with the kickers accuracy and awareness. Not every kicker in college is automatic from 40 yards out and very few can kid a 50 plus yarder. It seems I can nail a 50 yarder in my sleep, even with a 81 overall kicker.
[glow=red,2,300]Customized team entrances[/glow] Have team entrances more customized. Like the hill at clemson, the T at Tenn, sandman at VT and so forth.
[glow=red,2,300]Screen plays[/glow] Have the refs call a flag if the QB passes the ball over the LOS on a screen.
[glow=red,2,300]Make guys get tired more quickly[/glow] In a 20 minute game, you should have substitutions going on during the game and in the 4th the D should be really tired if they have been out there alot in the game. Make TOP a factor in the 4th. If a guy hits speed every play with his QB, RB or DB's make them come out on the next play if they are tired, like in real life.
[glow=red,2,300]Challange[/glow] Give the coaches the option to call the challenge.
[glow=red,2,300]Fair play rules [/glow] Go back to fair play rules in the lobby.

I would absolutely love the watching live games, but highly doubtful that we will have that anytime soon...

-fix the option pursuit -increase run blocking, tone down pass blocking -increase injuries so people dont throw high curl routes and have their wrs do flips and get up perfectly fine and things of that nature -on the xmb, under "playing ncaa football" add their opponent, score and time remaining in quarter -make the game so speed isnt the only thing that matters -increase fumbles

kent fatigue is not a problem, its a 20 minute game that is fine. Challenging being handled by the booth is fine. I agree with everything else in this thread, except people being able to talk on the mic if they are watching....the could give suggestions or say "watch for the" whatever play they like.
They can't make it too good or else we will never come back.

yea, the chat feature should be set aside for spectators only or maybe during halftime or something.
some people have been suggesting making the game come out every 2 years with a roster patch in between. that would give them more than enough time to fix bugs on the next version yet still make it with updated rosters, what do you guys think?

That will never happen unless they make you pay for the roster patch. And if I am paying full price I think I would rather just get a whole new game.

but...the first one that they did like that would be crappy cuz they would only have 1 year to prepare. and it would be about $120 bucks. thats crazy. i dont see how they could add that many new features and stuff to make it work. it could work, but i see it as a slow process that would backfire. of course ill always be playing this game, but i dont see any reason to change. if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

thats why the game has so many problems. ea takes the "well if people are buying it, why change it?" kinda hard for us to look somewhere else when they are the only ones who make a college football game.

Post by Thurman Murman on Feb 28, 2009 10:29:12 GMT -6
but i dont see how that would change even with more time. yea theres not another college football game out there, but thats okay. This version is the best ever, everyone of you guys was saying tht when it first came out (especially kent), and now you guys what to try and to do something different with it. we are still 5 months away from NCAA 2010, they still have to time to do whatever. the stuff i posted is just little details that were up on easports. im sure that there will be some changes in 2010, but lets face it. we have the best NCAA ever in our hands at the moment. That could change with 2010, lets hope it does.

yes, the release date is less than 5 months from now, but in reality, the game is done around may.

MAKE the rosters more realistic.... NO BCS school should have a roster that sucks worse than mac teams..

i agree with making them more realistic, but the other way around. take osu for instance this year. ray small had 20 catches for 267 yards his sophomore year, yet he is rated an 86 overall. then, hakeem nicks for unc had 74 catches for 958 yards and guess what he is rated? an 86. its so stupid that they take the top 5 teams and make every player a starter for practically any team. hopefully next year they realize this and actually base the player ratings off of performance and not the team they are on.

I am actually pretty impressed with how accurate the ratings are based on the fact they do it so far in advance before the players are actually playing. But I am with Prez...they should have a downloadable ratings update midway through the season.

patches take too long to make for it to be in the middle of the season. the only thing they could do is re-rate the players after the season is completely over with the new batch of ratings coming out right around now.

Doesn't Madden still do ratings updates during the season? If so why wouldn't they be able to do it for NCAA

No game can be perfect. When you first play it, you think you have the perfect game, but after you play a few online games and find out that others have found ways to exploit the AI and all that, you come back to earth. Personally, I don't care about the little details like FG nets and stuff (although it is neat), but I think the ease of running picks back should be fixed as well as the other stuff that has been posted.
Let's face it, at first we'll be happy with 2010...then we'll be disgusted that all the changes we wanted were not implemented...then we'll be hooked on the game again and be satisfied, then about this time next year, we'll have this same discussion.

This is by far the best game EA has ever made for college football.
I just finished uploading my custom sounds and oh my god what a difference it makes.
So far I have uploaded 31 out of my 50 slots available.
I have every single song the UGA band plays at our games and man it really feels like I am at the damn game.
Nothing like hearing Go Georgia Bulldogs real loud on a 3rd down.
I actually uploaded the real fight song we play after TD's.
I found a sound bite that Say's first down Georgia, it is our pa guy that says it at games.
I have a sound bite that say Gooooooooooo Dawgs!!!!!! Sick em at kick off.
Leroy brown on a turnover or sack.
You don't realize what a difference adding these in their makes until your playing and subconsciously you hear these songs right after certain moments in a real game at your stadium.
I uploaded a few of Tennessee's stuff too. I have the whole stadium singing Rocky top, you will always be home sweet home to me, good ole rocky top Whoooooooo Rocky top Tennessee.
The start of the 4th quarter I play the superman song that we play in Athens at the start, we all put up for fingers and sway them while the song is being played.
I really encourage you guys to upload sound bites in your game, it takes the realism up 200 notches.
