Okay, so I was about to play NCAA 09, but CoD was already in the PS3 and it automatically started up when I turned on the PS3. So, I pressed the eject button, but I guess it had already started up on the game, it was on the black screen, when it says "PLAYSTATION 3". And so when I ejected it and put in 09, it said "error with communtion with the server. this is a DNS error."
And I just got on 09 and tried to log in on the game, but the same thing. I shut the system off and tried again and nothing. I tried resetting the network settings and the same thing popped up. I tried going from a wirless connection to a wired connection, but that still doesn't help things. Any suggestions on what to try next?

So, I've gone onto the PS3 help site and done almost everything they have suggested. I can get online through the Internet Browswer on the PS3, but to the Playstation Network. Whenever I go to Network Settings and try to test the connection, it will get the IP Address, but when it gets to the Internet Connection it will immediately say Failed.
This is really pissing me off. So they say that I might have to open up some fire ports or whatver even though I have never had to do that.
Here are all the things I have tried Restarting Unplugging PS3, Modem, Router Going wired from router to PS3 Resetting entire PS3 settings Redoing network settings Getting to PSN without game in Getting to PSN with game in Getting to PSN in NCAA 09
NOTHING has worked. This is horrible. I should be studying for school, but of course I am trying to figure out I fucked up this time. I'm probably going to have to call the stupid Playstation Help guys, but I don't want to talk to some Indian guy who will have an accent I can't understand.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

That happened to me once, I got it working again by manually inputting my IP address and such.
